The Meal Barn offers
You’ll be welcomed into the fresh and stylish open-plan living, kitchen and dining area when you enter the property. Look up to see the vaulted ceiling!
A stunning breakfast island meets you as you enter the cottage with neutral colour palette and soft furnishings, it has a homely and chic look. A modern, flat screen TV is mounted on the wall so you can relax on the corner sofa watching your favourite shows during your stay. Perfect for entertaining friends or spending quality time with family, this area is certainly the hub of the house.
Like the rest of the property, the kitchen and dining area has been refurbished to the highest standard. With sleek cabinets and ultra-modern appliances, it is a truly luxurious space. One end of the room features the oven, hob, microwave, kettle and toaster.
Head to any of the three bedrooms and you’ll find truly relaxing settings. The rooms have been styled with bedside tables to match the king-size beds. You’ll also notice a bunk bed in one of the bedrooms, making The Meal Barn ideal for breaks with children and teenagers. It is also worth noting that each of the beds can be split to form two singles if requested prior to your stay.
All three bedrooms have en-suites two featuring baths and showers and one with a walk in shower, wash basins and WC’s. You can certainly expect a clean and modern finish.
Please note that there is also a sofa bed in the Meal Barn which can be set up for guests if requested. This will increase the occupancy to 10.
Head outside and you’ll be in a private patio with a hot tub and outdoor furniture.

What a beautiful place. The house is absolutely stunning with fabulous views over the countryside. Very peaceful! Plenty of outdoor space for the kids to run around and play football. The wood fired hot tub with jets was very welcoming after a day visiting Thornton le Dale, only a short drive away. We would definitely return.

Wow – fabulously beautiful barn conversion in a wonderful setting with views that captivated. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the very comfortable bed. The living area was spacious, airy and with views that allowed us to sit back and simply enjoy some relaxation time. The honesty shop was appreciated. We have just returned from a long weekend at The Meal Barn. Everything was perfect from the location, accommodation and hot tub which the kids and adults enjoyed.
